I am an independent scholar who lives and works on the indigenous lands of the Mohican, Canarsie, and Munsee Lenape peoples, currently known as New York City. Educated and trained as an art historian and theologian, I study and write about the intersection of art, religion, and contemporary life. My areas of interest include global art history; postcolonial and liberation theologies; and the personal and cultural meanings of home. I write, teach, and do research for museums, colleges, and both online and print publications.
